This past Saturday, we had the honor of showcasing the incredibly talented Ameal Tesfaye in her debut exhibition, Portraits in Texture: The Art of Presence. It was an enjoyable evening filled with amazing art, meaningful conversations, and great connections, making it a night to remember.
Ameal’s textured portraits captivated attendees, celebrating her journey of dedication and creativity. This event wasn’t just about celebrating art—it was a testament to the power of community.
At Africa Village Square (AVS), empowering and supporting talent within our community is at the heart of everything we do. Portraits in Texture was a perfect reflection of that mission. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, shared their energy, and supported Ameal through this journey.
Stay tuned for more events as we continue to celebrate the richness of talent and community. Together, we will continue to create spaces to support talent, community, and connections.
Special thanks to Sekou Kromah for capturing beautiful moments from this exhibition.
